PHOTOS: Contemporary Chinese artists at FGCU reflect evolution of their homeland
On Thursday, Florida Gulf Coast University’s Art Gallery opened an exhibition of avant-garde art by five Chinese artists, and the work upends the images of that nation’s art that most people hold in their heads: flow-blue porcelain pottery, terra-cotta warriors and calligraphy brushwork.
